Collective Haul | Malta & more

I’m randomly writing this post just to show you some stuff I bought during last month (including what I bought in Malta, I’ve been there in the earlier days of September) as a little preview of what you’ll be seeing on this blog soon!

I placed an order on ecco-verde in the middle of August just to stock on my Lavera toner and fluid (the sizes are pretty small so the product ends quickly) and decided to try out the cleanser from the same line too. I’ll let you know what I think about them!

The lasting finish by Kate Moss for Rimmel (n.107) was so cheap that I couldn’t really leave it at the counter and the Rimmel Scandaleyes in number 003 Bad girl bronze just casually followed it. Actually I fell in love with Bulletproof beige too, I don’t know for how long I will resist the urge to buy it. The makeup remover wipes by Cotoneve were bought because I merely needed them, but I have to say that I like the single dose formula, more practical for those who don’t use wipes on a daily basis. Last but not least there is the Bottega Verde Kabuki brush, which I bought both because a new Kabuki was much needed and because I had a 50% off coupon for it. I haven’t started using it on a daily basis yet but the fact that it’s super soft already makes a good start!

The only book I bought this summer (ok, it was gifted to me by my lovely mother) is At Home by Bill Bryson. It has been on my wishlist for a while and when I found it with at 25% off I couldn’t resist (in forcing my mum to buy it).

Shopping in Malta:

The first stop has been Marks & Spencer to pick up some tea, it was hard to choose only two, but in the end the detox infusion and the organic green tea with jasmine won!

Accessorize had 70% off sales going on so I couldn’t really pass it over: I spent only twelve euros for these four necklaces when the one with the hearts (that’s in sterling silver) was about sixteen euros alone! The ring, also in silver, was gifted to me by my boyfriend Valentino in a little shop of handmade silver jewelry, Malta is famous for the silver work.

Ok, I went a bit crazy in The body shop. I only wanted to buy a body butter full size but couldn’t because I couldn’t carry anything that wasn’t more than 100ml in my luggage, so I ended up buying the travel sized one. The two packs of blotting papers and the tea tree oil were a necessity since my skin went a bit crazy during the holiday while the mask (from the “organic” range) and the body mist were a mere vanity purchase, I admit it. The blackhead remover is currently a mystery: I had never heard of such thing and didn’t manage to find many information online! The only thing that’s sure is that you’ll heard about all this stuff really soon on the blog!

The Nyx shop was a good and a bad surprise at the same time. Good because I always heard of this brand by other bloggers and never had the chance to try it by myself, bad because the prices were two, three times higher than in America. Initially I wanted to buy loads of blushes and ended up only with one (they didn’t have taupe which was the one I wanted the most. The one pictured above is Silky Rose) but I totally fell in love with the soft matte lip creams: I bought the first two (San Paulo and Monte Carlo) tried them during the holiday and then went back to the shop to buy Milan too, that should be a hint of how a very good review is coming up. The eyeliner (Bronze Glitter) was free with the purchase: I’m not a fan of glittery eyeliners but since it was free it deserves a chance!

This is what I bought during summer and in Malta apart from the classic souvenirs and a ridiculous amount of Mentos (don't ask). I hope yoi liked this post! Have you tried any of these products or I made you want to? Let me know in the comments!
