If you
have an acne prone skin as I do, you get a ton of pimples straight after eating
something unhealthy or your skin simply hates you, you’ve probably tried a lot
of “fast remedies” against pimples, that are supposed to dry them out and make them disappear as fast as possible.
I’ve
always been ashamed of my imperfections and tried to find a solution for them
in a lot of different products, since I understood that none of them could do
what it promises on the label (I have loads of friend on whom this kind of
products works perfectly, but they don’t have acne prone skin, they just get a
pimple from time to time) but some of them can really help solving the
problem on the long run.
Brufocrema
by Fitocose www.fitocose.it
This
cream has been recommended to me for a really long time, but I couldn’t buy it
till last winter and it’s already on my list of stuff to stock up on. It’s a
rich formula with a pungent smell that disappears as soon as you put it on your
face. Applied religiously since you feel a pimple coming to it's complete
disappearing it’s wondrous: the pimple won’t disappear in a few hours (only
black magic can make it) but it will significantly speed up its elapsed,
circumscribing it at the same time. So if it looks like the pimple is going to
conquer your whole chin it’s going to end up remaining a small, easy to cover
up imperfection.
Even if
I love this product to death I must say it is flawed under two perspectives in
particular: it is not possible to apply any product on the top of the cream
and, for me at least, this makes it unusable during the day. More important is
the expiration date of four months, too short to use the whole cream since you
need the tiniest amount every time.
In a
nutshell:
Pro:
speeds up the elapsed of the pimple, circumscribe it, has a completely green
list of ingredients.
Cons:
you can’t use it under make up or other creams, 30ml are a lot of product to
use within four months.

Zap!
Zap! Zap! get’s that chap – day and night spot stick by Anatomicals www.amazon.co.uk
I must
admit that the packaging had a crucial role in this purchase: I LOVE names and
descriptions of Anatomicals products! If you mix this with the fact that they are
really cheap you’ll understand why I always get tempted by their line, even if
my opinion in the end it’s not always positive.
On the
hunt for the thousandth product against pimples I wanted to try this one:
I began with using it as the instructions suggested, went on mixing the two
parts together and ending up using it during daytime as a substitute of the
Brufocrema (which I used up on the night time).
I know
people on whom this thing worked used as the instructions tells but on me it
did nothing. I think it helped a little used as support of the Brufocrema,
accelerating by a couple of days the disappearance of the imperfection (that’s
why I’ll probably repurchase this), but anyway has been quite disappointing.
In a
nutshell:
Pro:
works as a support of other products.
Cons: it
doesn’t work on its own if you’re acne prone.
