5 nail polishes for those who don’t want to surrender to Autumn colours

Really the full title of this post should be “5 nail polishes for those who don’t want to surrender to the same dark red, nudes and green all over again and, in the same time, can’t stand tiffany/mint green nail polishes anymore”. As you can see that it would have been quite a long title.
Of course I have nothing against the colours I quoted above, I simply want to stand out to the fact it seems mandatory to abandon all the bright colours from the midnight of 21th of September, with the only exception of the over hyped tiffany/mint green, that within the last year seemed the only colour worth putting on your nails.
The nail polishes I chose stand between the fluo colours used during summer and the dark ones that are gonna be used during winter, a more discreet solution that doesn’t renounce to a touch of brightness.

A beautiful emerald green with a touch of blue in it and silver micro glitter that you can’t really notice once you’ve applied it, but help making it look like the sea on the holiday season we just left behind us.

In this case I’m not recommending the nail polish in particular (which is awful) but the color: this summer we matched our tan with neon white (at least I think you did it, I don’t get tanned) so now that the golden colour is fading away why we shouldn’t use a grey based white? It’s less noticeable but still elegant.

If you’re as old as I am you’ll remember that before coral there was red. Now it’s not cool anymore to say red so we have to call it coral. Well, we should take red nail polish back in action. Let’s face it: in autumn we’ll see a lot of Bordeaux nail polishes, so why don’t switch to a bright red one? For sure it’s the most original colour to wear on your nails now.

In my mind the anti-autumn color is blue and, within the ones I own, this one is my favourite: the only way I have to describe it is as a neon blue on whom at the last minute someone put a white film on. During last year I found a lot of almost-neon colours, but this one is by far my favourite.

So, this is the only dark colour admitted in this post: this should be the same old purple colour but it has so many yellow, green and purple glitters in it that becomes unique. I failed miserably to photograph it so just look at better swatches online and tell me if I’m right or not.

I hope you liked this post! Which are your favourite autumn nail polishes? Let me know in the comments!
