Malta | Travel diary & photos

Malta cross engraved in the wall of an old prision

A mostly photographic quick post just to talk about the recent trip I did to Malta.
What to say. At the beginning we were (my journey companion and I) looking for a really low cost destination so, surfing on drungli.com, we found a really cheap flight to Malta and ten minutes later we had booked a room into a guest house in St. Julian.
We didn’t had many expectations about it, but maybe that’s why Malta has been a lovely surprise: the bus pass and the food were super cheap, even big franchises were a bit cheaper than in Italy. This has been a great way to celebrate Valentino’s birthday and most of all to discovery such a beautiful place so close to us!

Anti-spots comparison: Fitocose vs. Anatomicals

If you have an acne prone skin as I do, you get a ton of pimples straight after eating something unhealthy or your skin simply hates you, you’ve probably tried a lot of “fast remedies” against pimples, that are supposed to dry them out and make them disappear as fast as possible.
I’ve always been ashamed of my imperfections and tried to find a solution for them in a lot of different products, since I understood that none of them could do what it promises on the label (I have loads of friend on whom this kind of products works perfectly, but they don’t have acne prone skin, they just get a pimple from time to time) but some of them can really help solving the problem on the long run.

Collective Haul | Malta & more

I’m randomly writing this post just to show you some stuff I bought during last month (including what I bought in Malta, I’ve been there in the earlier days of September) as a little preview of what you’ll be seeing on this blog soon!

5 nail polishes for those who don’t want to surrender to Autumn colours

Really the full title of this post should be “5 nail polishes for those who don’t want to surrender to the same dark red, nudes and green all over again and, in the same time, can’t stand tiffany/mint green nail polishes anymore”. As you can see that it would have been quite a long title.
Of course I have nothing against the colours I quoted above, I simply want to stand out to the fact it seems mandatory to abandon all the bright colours from the midnight of 21th of September, with the only exception of the over hyped tiffany/mint green, that within the last year seemed the only colour worth putting on your nails.
The nail polishes I chose stand between the fluo colours used during summer and the dark ones that are gonna be used during winter, a more discreet solution that doesn’t renounce to a touch of brightness.

Summer reading

I read quite a lot the whole year but mostly during summer, when the temporary loss of my internet access and university exams create the perfect conditions for me to sit down and read the books I’ve been piling up on my bedside table through winter.
